Michael Csizmadia

General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Michael V. Csizmadia serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Nabors, overseeing all legal, compliance and corporate governance matters.

With more than 20 years of international oil and gas industry experience, Csizmadia has established a proven track record of leading complex transactions, managing litigation and regulatory risks and developing effective legal strategies. His proficiencies extend globally, having supported projects in Iraq, Russia, Brazil, Mexico and Canada.

Prior to joining Nabors, Csizmadia served as Vice President and General Counsel for the Oilfield Services & Equipment Segment at Baker Hughes Company. He previously held various legal leadership and supply chain roles at Technip USA, Inc. and BP America Production Company.

Michael holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston Law Center and a B.S. in Engineering Arts degree from Michigan State University.
